Dr Shrosbree graduated with a combined Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (Honours) and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Sydney. She completed specialist training in Endocrinology at St Vincent’s Hospital and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research Darlinghurst, Prince of Wales Hospital Randwick and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Camperdown. Her training included a year of specialized training and research in the area of bone and calcium disorders through the department of Bone Biology at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. Her final year at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital focused on the management of endocrine diseases associated with eating disorders. She was awarded Fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians as an Endocrinologist in 2018. .
She regularly attends national and international meetings to ensure she provides her patients with up to date, evidence-based care. She is a member of multiple national and international societies. She has published her research in peer-reviewed journals and presented her findings at national conferences.
She is the project lead for Australia and New Zealand's first Bone Health TeleECHO program which is a case-based program of tele-mentoring in which physicians come together to present challenging cases in osteoporosis and other bone diseases to get expert advice and improve self-efficacy in clinical care.
Dr Shrosbree is passionate about using IT to streamline medical care and empowering patients to work as partners in their clinical journey.
